About the Blog

DATING [hopeful] IS A TRUE STORY.

It’s mine.

AND LET’S FACE IT

Dating is fucking messy. Honest. A bad date can turn the most intelligent, confident and beautiful young woman and make her feel like she’s last girl to get asked to the 8th grade dance, who instead spends all night with her acne creme, eating chocolate ice cream and reading a Judy Blume novel.

THERE ARE

Plenty of dating advice sites out there–for single mothers, women in their 30s and even women who are finished with divorce and ready to get back into the dating game. But what about the young women who are just starting their lives?

POST

High school sweetheart or college boyfriend? Done with the series of day parties, semi formals, awkward group dates and “just hanging out?”

WELCOME TO DATING [hopeful]

This is a blog which frequently questions and answers the paradoxes of the dating world and relationships for young professional women: the good, the bad and the really, really ugly.

IF

You’re looking for an expert, you might want to go back to Google. But if you’re looking for someone real who’s new to the dating world, determined to make mistakes, good humored, and who’s going through a huge change in her life–Welcome to my life.

WHO AM I?

Just a career driven 20 something looking for true love and happiness. Someone who is sick of college boys and determined to find a young man in this world. Or die trying.

That being said, I am just a young professional looking for love. All of content of this blog is simply my views and opinions and cannot be attributed to anyone or any organization.

Very insightful, and full of no-nonsense advice for the younger woman. Two high fives.
